Linda sometimes capoed 5th fret and sometimes 7th fret. BUT, in the left hand it's NOT a hammer on, it's a pulloff.
Would be good if you'd said more about the mandolin? You didn't really say much, except the strings are hard to push down. You didn't say anything about the pain of playing a guitar with steel strings. Most people give up because of the pain. Maybe make individual videos about each group? Or, introduction to the mandolin? Also you could have said, violin and mandolin have the same tuning and same 4 strings, so if you've played violin you might find mandolin easier? Just some ideas? 😊

@JamieAndersonMusic To tell the truth, I've watched your video twice. Once ages ago, I wanted to watch it again because I was thinking of taking up mandolin. That's why I said you didn't say much about it, I wasn't being critical, I just would have liked to know a bit more. I did play violin for a few years, so I know the tuning is the same. I'm thinking of trying uke again! I do think mandolin is a great sound, but I'm sure it's painful to play at first, anyway. I might still have a go? They look great, too, and not too big. Thanks for your reply, and it is a good video for finding out about those string instruments. All the best!👍

I just found your channel today. I beeive i can learn from you. You make it look easy. Im 81. Never had anyone teach me. Going in hosp for heart test Friday. Already had quadruple bypass.
